Refining from +1 to +9
Odds for each level, what happens on failure and which items can break.

How to refine
- Click the Dust in the inventory.
- Click the gear you want to upgrade.
- Ori Dust goes from +0 to +6. Lac Dust goes up to +9.

TipUse Lac Dust from +5 on: the odds are much higher than with Ori.
If it fails
- On regular weapons and armor, the dust is used up, but the item does not lose its level and does not break.
- Each failure makes the next try easier: a (+X%) shows next to the item name. That extra chance resets when you succeed.
WarningSealed rings and earrings and Celestial items can break on failure. Special amulets only accept Lac Dust.
What refining improves
Each + adds 10% to all the item's stats: damage, magic, defense, HP, MP and resistances. A +9 item has 190% of the original value; a +15, 250%.
